Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy is a part of Autopilot & Black Lotus Inc's Terms of Service.
Mobile App
The Autopilot Mobile App (as of 04/09/21) uses local storage on your phone to store data that you input. It also uses Google Analytics to track events such as how often you use the app and the features within it, but this data is not connected to your identity.
We will also be able able to view some aggregate statistics based on your use of the app that will be made available to use via Apple and Google's app stores. This data will also be anonymized and will only include broad information about your usage, and won't include anything you write in the app.
Given that the data you add to Autopilot Mobile App is (for now) only stored locally on your phone, we do not have access to that data. However, if someone were to gain access to your mobile device, they could theoretically access the data you saved with Autopilot in that way.
In the future, we plan on adding an ability to log in with an account and store your data remotely. If and when we release that feature, your Autopilot user data will be stored on the cloud if you create an account. If you do not create an account, it will continue to only be persisted on your device's local storage.
Beta
When you sign up for the Autopilot beta program we will collect your email address, which we will use to contact you about Autopilot updates and beta program feedback requests. We will not share your email with any third party. You can request to be removed from the list at any time.
Changes to this Policy
This Privacy Policy is effective as of Apr 9, 2021 and will remain in effect except with respect to any changes in its provisions in the future, which will be in effect immediately after being posted on this page.
We reserve the right to update or change our Privacy Policy at any time and you should check this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the Service after we post any modifications to the Privacy Policy on this page will constitute your acknowledgment of the modifications and your consent to abide and be bound by the modified Privacy Policy.
Specifically, we plan to update this privacy policy significantly when we add options for logging in, storing your data to a remote server, and sharing content you created in Autopilot. Those planned features will all have significant implications for the privacy of the app since they will allow you to create data that leaves your device.
If we make any material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you either through the email address you have provided us, or by placing a prominent notice on our website.
